Amidst all controversies, Karthi's Komban finally hit the theatres on Thursday. However, the early reviews clearly states that there is no controversial element in the movie. It is an action movie loaded with humour. Here are few responses:
Packed with a wonderful star cast, Komban all the lead actors have done justice to their characters. Many have applauded Karthi's perfect dialogue delivery with perfect appearance.

Not everyone can carry off the local shirt, dhoti look with a royal moustache & rugged beard. #Karthi is fit and fine! Watch #Komban for him

A few songs will make you to tap your foot with the background score by G.V. Prakash.
#Komban G.v.prakash's bgm in climax was awesome A real feel of village festivals

#Komban - many characters but villains were ordinary. Visually superb with nice tones and grt night shots. GVP Bgm score a plus too.

GV Prakash's music during the climax is high voltage. #Komban

The plot of the movie seems to be a just another usual rural revenge flick and fails to present any surprising elements.
#komban nothing new storywise.. Its a regular rural masala flick which targets mainly B & C centres

#Komban 2.75/5. Downside - Nothing new in story & presentation and a contrived climax.

#Komban - Just another rural revenge flick with good amount of father-in-law & son-in-law sentiment and gr8 production values. Okay! (6/10)

The Twitterati verdict: Komban is a fairly made drama thriving on a good chemistry between Karthi and Rajkiran.
