'Eeda' audience review: an intense love story in turbulent Kannur

Eeda Eeda

The wait is over. Shane Nigam-starrer Eeda, directed by B Ajithkumar, has released in all major centers across Kerala on Friday. The film, which is expected to be an intense love story, is said to be based on Shakespeare's classic 'Romeo and Juliet'.

The poignant love story of Anand (Shane Nigam), who is an MBA graduate and Aishwarya (Nimisha Sajayan) is set in the politically turbulent Kannur in Kerala.

This is the directorial debut of celebrated film editor B Ajithkumar, who worked behind acclaimed films like Naalu Pennungal, Annayum Rasoolum and Kammatipadam.

Eeda is produced by Sharmila Rajaa, Delta Studio in collaboration with Collective Phase One.

Meanwhile, director-producer Lal Jose, whose LJ Films distributed the movie, in a Facebook post said that all those who worked hard for the film expect audience to welcome the film with all their heart.

The movie released in 66 centers in Kerala and 33 theaters outside the state on Friday. It will also be released in another 37 centers outside Kerala on Saturday.
