It's here finally. The much anticipated Tovino Thomas-Wamiqa Gabi movie Godha has hit theaters on Friday.
Directed by Basil Joseph, who anchored the successful Kunjiramayanam, Godha focuses on wrestling. According to Basil, the Tovino starrer will be a different experience for the audience as it narrates the story of a female wrestler. He is all praise for his heroine, Wamiqa and his male lead Tovino.

Punjabi kudi Wamiqa Gabi makes her Malayalam debut with Godha. She acts the part of a female wrestler and it is through her that the story is told. Wamiqa says it not everyday you get to play a wrestler. “The experience made me stronger and it has given me immense confidence.”
Godha's music by Shaan Rahman is already viral online, especially the 'Punjabi tadka', O Rabba. Basil Joseph retained Vishnu Sarma, who handled cinematography of his debut film Kunjiramayanam, as DoP for Godha.
