Kottayam: An exhibition of recent paintings by renowned artist and veteran journalist K.A. Francis will be held in Bengaluru from October 20 to 24.
The exhibition titled "Earth Ahead" will be inaugurated by eminent artist Yusuf Arakkal at Karnataka Chithrakala Parishad hall at 10.30 am on October 20. Writer Anitha Nair will chair the function which will be attended by Kerala Cultural Affairs Minister K.C. Joseph and Kerala Sahithya Academy secretary R. Gopalakrishnan.
"The exhibition will feature a selection of my recent works which are close to mother nature," Francis said.
Francis, a long-term journalist with Malayala Manorama, is currently the editor-in-charge of Manorama Weekly. He has authored several books including "The Essence of Aum", "The Pope's Invitation to Rome", and "Venice the City that Flows".
A trained artist in Tantric painting from Haridwar, Francis has conducted several exhibitions. He has won several awards and attended Biennales in Venice and Florence.
