Kottayam: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be the chief guest at the sixth convocation of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam to be held on February 22, 2024. She will also deliver the convocation address to the graduating students. 

Dr Vijayalakshmi Deshmane, Chairperson of IIIT Kottayam, will preside over the event, which begins at 4:30 pm.

Dr M Radhakrishnan, Registrar of IIIT Kottayam, stated that the ceremony will witness the conferral of degrees to 217 BTech graduates, 55 MTech graduates, 5 PhD scholars, and 1 BTech-MS scholar. The convocation signifies a significant milestone in the graduates' academic journey and reflects IIIT Kottayam's dedication to excellence in education and research.
