Vikram Gowda, 44, was killed in an encounter during an anti-Naxal operation in Hebri Kabvinale, located in the Sitambailu area of Karkala Taluk, Udupi district of Karnataka.
Gowda had been actively operating in the Sringeri, Narasimharajapura, Karkala, and Udupi regions.
