Kochi: An employee of DC Books has sought anticipatory bail in connection with the EP Jayarajan autobiography case. AV Sreekumar, the senior deputy editor of DC Books and the first accused in the case, approached the High Court, reported Manorama News. The court has directed the police to explain and submit their response by January 6.

A controversy erupted after a section of Jayarajan's autobiography, 'Kattanchayayum Parippuvadayum: Oru Communistine Jeevitham', leaked. The leaked section contained Jayarajan's criticism of P Sarin, the LDF candidate in the Palakkad assembly bypoll.
