This traditional house has a car porch, sit out, living and dining areas, courtyard, pooja space, kitchen with a work area, three bedrooms and bathrooms arranged in 2591 sqft. The car porch has been built separately so that it wouldn’t disrupt the traditional theme of the structure. Old roofing tiles have been reused on the car porch.

The entrance door opens to the spacious and tastefully furnished formal living area. An elegant couch, TV unit and other furniture are arranged here. The centre of the house has a double height ceiling and the flat roof is topped with GI truss work. This makes the dining area look and feel incredibly vaster.

Vitrified tiles in matte finish have been used for flooring. Old traditional style furniture has been given a few coats of polish before reusing them.

The courtyard designed in the Buddha theme is the highlight of the interiors. The ceiling here features a classy blend of mud roofing tiles and glass, bringing in lots of natural sun shine. Meanwhile, the jali wall in the background add a surreal charm to this area. Moreover, this wall welcomes cool breeze into the house, keeping the interiors pleasant and comfortable. The rustic charm of the Kadappa stone flooring too is incredible. Interestingly, the Buddha figurine has been placed on a stand that has concealed storage.

The dining area is arranged adjacent to this courtyard. The classic circular glass top dining table perfectly suits this area. A sliding glass door is what connects the dining area to the courtyard.

The bedrooms are bath attached and boasts of all the amazing facilities. Two bedrooms open to the fabulous views of the courtyard. The bedroom walls are lined with tall windows that bring in natural light and air abundantly.

The modern kitchen is furnished with cabinets done in plywood with mica finish. The counter top, meanwhile, has been paved with Kalinga stones. The blue tiles pasted on the splash back add a pop of colour here.
