Easy-to-make ragi idli

Nutrition and health experts vouch for the incredible nutritional qualities of ragi or finger millet which is easily available the super markets. Here is a simple recipe to make soft, delicious and nutritious idli for breakfast.
Ingredients
1 cup urad dal (soaked for 4 hours and drained)
3 cups millet powder
200 gm yogurt
Preparation
Add half cup of water into the soaked urad dal and ground into a smooth batter
In a bowl add millet powder, yogurt and 1 1/2 cups of water
Mix well and add this into the batter
Keep this aside for 6-8 hours for the batter to rise
Pour a spoonful of the batter into an idli vessel and steam for 8-10 minutes
Serve the soft idly with coconut or coriander chutney.
Notes
Adding a spoonful of grated carrot in the batter would make the idli extra delicious and nutritious.
