The first single from the upcoming Sivakarthikeyan film Amaran, titled 'Hey Minnale', was released by the makers on October 4. Music composer GV Prakash had previously teased a glimpse of the song, which features vocals by Haricharan and Shweta Mohan.

The music video highlights the characters portrayed by Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, set against the picturesque backdrop of Madras Christian College. The visuals are quickly becoming a viral sensation, particularly among MCC alumni, as the college's stunning features—like the iconic 'Gutters', MacPhail Arts Centre, and the deer of the campus—evoke nostalgic memories from the 187-year-old campus.

Amaran is based on the chapter about Major Mukund Varadharajan from the book India’s Most Fearless, written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. In the film, Sivakarthikeyan will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar, while the talented Sai Pallavi plays Major Mukund's wife, Indhu, adding significant emotional depth to the narrative.
The film is set to hit theaters on October 31, just in time for the Diwali season, with a special release planned for Thursday.
