ISRO forays into small satellite launch market with SSLV success.
SSLV-D1/EOS 02 was carrying an earth observation satellite and a student satellite.
There is one more island, Pulicat on the way. There is a bird sanctuary here. One can get off here and walk about 5 km through this sanctuary to Sriharikota.
