The railways have announced a special AC train to Bengaluru from Thiruvananthapuram North, April 4 onwards. The train, 06555, will be in service till May 5. The train, which will leave on Fridays at 10 pm from Bengaluru SMVT Terminal, will reach Thiruvananthapuram North at 2 pm the next day. The return train(06556) will be on Sundays at 2.15 pm and reach Bengaluru at 7.30 pm.
Its stops will be Varkala, Kollam, Kayamkulam, Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanacherry, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Pothannur, Tirupur, Erode, Selam, Bangarapett and Krishnarajapuram. It will have 2 second-class AC and 16 third-class AC coaches. The third AC ticket will cost Rs 1490, and the second AC ticket will cost Rs 2070.
