Hello
Among the allies of the BJP, JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy, HAM (Secular) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi, JD(U) leader Lalan Singh and TDP's K Ram Mohan Naidu also took the oath of office as ministers.
They accused Chirag Paswan of selling tickets for money and claimed they would support the INDIA bloc.
Paswan's party has, however, been instrumental in the JD(U)'s loss in at least 30 seats, as per the latest voting figures made public by the Election Commission.
He was elected to Lok Sabha eight times and also held the record of winning his constituency, Hajipur, with the highest margin for several years.
Like Paswan senior, who was able to survive in the turbulent political terrain of Bihar since 1960, it remains to be seen if Chirag can do an encore.
Party MP and Paswan's son Chirag Paswan said patience of many within the Lok Janshakti Party is running thin.
