She was admitted to the Mananthavady Medical College Hospital on June 23. Later she was shifted to WIMS Hospital, Meppadi, for better treatment.
The hospital issued a statement denying that doctors had wrongfully issued a brain death certificate for the victim who had suffered severe head injuries in accident.
Liver of the victim was transplanted into a foreign national without sanction of the internal authorisation committee .
KIMS denied the charges and has appealed against the order at the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
