Kozhikode: Former Koyilandy MLA E Narayanan Nair died on Tuesday morning. He was 88.
He was twice elected to the Kerala Assembly on Congress ticket.
His funeral will be held at his house in Chengottukvau.
As a mark of respect to the late politician, all shops in Koyilandy will down shutters till 2 pm Tuesday.
He was born as the son of Kelu Nair and Unni Madhavikuttyamma on January 31, 1931. He held various positions with the Congress.
