It can also be a tasty and filling after-school snack for children. Here’s how to prepare it:


Ingredients
1 cup rava
1 cup of warm water
2 boiled potatoes
2 cups of wheat flour or maida
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garlic paste
½ tbsp chilly flakes
¼ tsp asafetida powder
¼ cup of chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp oil
Oil for frying

Preparation
Pour warm water into rava, keep it closed for 15 minutes
Grate boiled potatoes
Add it to the rava that’s soaked well
Also add turmeric powder, garlic paste, chilly flakes, asafoetida and coriander leaves
Mix well
Add wheat flour or maida and mix well
Add 1 tsp oil and mix again to make a dough
Apply oil on your hand, and roll the dough into small balls
Apply oil on chapathi roller board, roll out the balls into small puris
Fry them in hot oil
Serve hot with curries of your choice
