Ingredients
Puff pastry sheet
2 big apples
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1½ tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp corn starch + 1 tbsp water
¾ cup water
1 egg

Preparation
Take ¾ cup water, brown sugar, apple pieces, cinnamon powder and vanilla essence in a pan
Cook for 5 minutes on medium flame
Mix the corn starch in 1 tbsp water
Add the corn slurry into the boiling apple mix
Stir continuously for 2 minutes
Turn off the flame and allow this mixture to cool down
Cut 4x4 inches pieces from the puff pastry sheet
Place a tablespoon of sweet apple mixture on each pastry sheet
Fold the pastry sheet with the apple filling in the shape of puffs
Place the puffs on the baking tray
Put two small cuts on the puff pastry
Give the puff pastries a layer of egg wash
Bake the puffs for 20 minutes in an oven pre-heated at 400 degree Fahrenheit (200 degree Celsius)
