Marking World Music Day on Friday, a group of singers have released an anthem. The song titled, 'Sangeet Mera Ishq Hain' is an original music video reflecting the music lovers’ soul.

The group of singers include senior techies and managers, a dentist, a scientist from Indian Institute of Science, CEO of a company, and an HR manager who flew down from Bengaluru and Hyderabad to record and shoot the anthem in Kochi.

The music composed by Sunil Koshy and lyrics penned by Mumbai based lyricist Sahil Sultanpuri.

The best part of the song is that it has Indian classical and western elements fused so as to connect to the young and older listeners alike. The video is directed and shot by Spartacus and team while the whole anthem is conceptualised by composer Sunil's wife and co-founder of 'From Mug To Mike', Archana Hallikeri.

'From Mug to Mike' is a platform for aspiring singers. It is inspired by the millions who enjoy singing and those who would like to graduate from prop mugs to actual microphones, but don't have the formal training.
