Unique Nedumangad house with a stunning swimming pool

The house in Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram, offers unique and interesting features. Designed by an architect who is also the brother of the owner, the house stands as a simple dwelling without excessive display of wealth. Spread across 3416 square feet, it includes a porch, sit-out, living room, dining area, kitchen, work area, four bedrooms, a swimming pool, an open terrace, and a balcony.

The swimming pool, located on the second level, is a standout feature. Rainwater from the roof is channelled directly into the pool. The pool area is finished with GI truss work and fibre cement board.

The double-height living space feels very spacious. The white walls contrast beautifully with the concrete-finished ceiling, creating a striking visual effect. This area also connects the two floors. A lattice wall on the side adds to the aesthetic appeal.

The staircase features a metal frame with railings combining metal and teak wood. The kitchen has a wooden finish with granite countertops. A separate work area is also provided. The open terrace has been converted into a multi-utility area with truss roofing. This spacious area can be used for various purposes. It now houses a gym, a sitting area, and storage space. The bedrooms feature highlighted head-side walls and upholstery work. Each bedroom includes an attached bathroom, wardrobe, and dressing space.
