Kasargod: Various trains have been allowed additional coaches before the upcoming holiday and festival seasons. 12076 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Kozhikode Jan Shatabdi Express (additional chair car from March 29 onwards), 12075 Kozhikode – Thiruvananthapuram Central Jan Shatabdi Express (March 29), 16604 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Maveli Express (additional sleeper coaches on March 28 and 29) and 16603 Mangaluru Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Maveli Express (March 27 and 28) will get additional sleeper chair cars.

Besides, 16629 Thiruvananthapuram Central—Mangaluru Central Malabar Express (additional coaches on March 28 and 29 and April 1 and 2), 16630 Mangaluru Central—Thiruvananthapuram Central Malabar Express (March 27, 28 and April 1, 2), 16343 Thiruvananthapuram Central—Madurai Junction Amrita Express (March 28 and 29), and 16344 Madurai Junction—Thiruvananthapuram Central Amrita Express (March 29 and 30) will also have extra coaches.
