Celebrities often go for surgical procedures to maintain their appearance. Actress Khushi Kapoor has disclosed that she, too, has undergone cosmetic procedures. However, she encountered backlash following her procedure. Recently, Khushi shared details regarding a cosmetic process she underwent. She was talking about it during an interview with Curly Tales's YouTube channel.
Khushi responded to YouTuber Kamiya Jani's question regarding the strangest image on her phone by stating that it could be her picture. She further said that she had thick eyebrows and underwent a nano blade procedure to minimize the gap between them. Following the procedures she was advised to keep her eyebrows dry for ten days. A shield was placed on her forehead to prevent it from getting wet. She found it quite funny and took several photos wearing the shield that day, which she later shared with her friends without even mentioning the context. She jocundly said that her friends didn't question it as they found it normal.
When asked while many actresses didn't reveal beauty-enhancing procedures they have undergone, Kushi openly talked about them, and why, she replied that she didn't "think it's such a big deal" and that people must be scared of being hated "if they come out and admit it." She said that people think, using the term 'plastic' is a big insult and added that there is nothing wrong in getting the work done. But what she didn't approve of was people after undergoing beauty-enhancing procedures projected the result as something they were born with. It set "wrong standards" of beauty, she said.
This can lead to misconceptions among teenagers. It is important to recognize that the beauty of celebrities is often supported by a dedicated skincare team. But celebrities should maintain transparency otherwise, teenagers may start comparing their skin with that of celebrities, unaware of the underlying realities, said Khushi.
