Kerala SSLC, Higher Secondary, and VHSE exams to begin tomorrow

The Kerala SSLC, Second Year Higher Secondary, and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations for the academic year 2024-25 will commence on Monday and conclude on March 26.
A total of 4,27,021 students in the regular category will be appearing for the SSLC/THSLC/AHSLC examinations across 2,964 centres in Kerala, 9 centres in Lakshadweep, and 7 centres in the Middle East.
Among these students, 2,17,696 are boys, and 2,09,325 are girls. In the Gulf region, 682 students will sit for the exam, while 447 students will take the exam in Lakshadweep. Additionally, 8 students will be appearing under the old scheme (PCO).
The Malappuram revenue district’s Malappuram educational district has the highest number of students appearing for the SSLC examination, with 28,358 candidates. Meanwhile, the Kuttanad educational district in the Alappuzha revenue district has the lowest number of candidates, with only 1,893 students.
The centralised valuation of SSLC answer sheets will be conducted in 72 camps across the state from April 3 to April 26 in two phases. The first phase will be held from April 3 to April 11, spanning eight days, while the second phase will take place from April 21 to April 26, lasting six days.
For the Higher Secondary Examinations, a total of 11,74,409 students will appear for both the first and second-year exams. This includes 5,79,688 boys and 5,94,721 girls.
Examinations will be conducted across 2,000 centres, with 1,981 centres in Kerala, eight in the Gulf region, nine in Lakshadweep, and two in Mahe. Valuation of answer scripts for the Higher Secondary Examination will begin on April 3, 2025, and all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the exams have been completed.
For the Vocational Higher Secondary Examinations, 26,831 students will appear for the first-year public examination in the regular category, while 22,740 students will sit for improvement exams.
Among them, 16,259 are boys, and 10,572 are girls. Authorities have completed preparations for the Vocational Higher Secondary Examinations, ensuring a smooth process for all candidates.
