Ingredients
¼ cup yellow dal
3 - 5 dried chillies
¼ cup grated coconut
¼ onion
2 garlic cloves
¼ tomato
Curry leaves
1 cup spinach
Preparation
Roast the yellow dal and dried chillies in 1 tbsp oil
Set them aside
Now sauté the remaining ingredients too
Cook the chopped spinach in steam
Prepare the batter by mixing millet powder and urad dal in 2:1 ratio
Grease a hot pan
Pour a ladle full of dosa batter
When the dosa is half cooked, spread the roasted dal and sautéed ingredients
Spread the cooked spinach too
Cook for ½ minute with a lid on
Fold the dosa and take it off the pan
Enjoy the millet - spinach dosa with sambar and chutney.
