KSRTC's Munnar Royal View double-decker bus, which had its service cancelled for a day after its front glass was shattered, is back in service today. The budget tourism cell says that its 9 am service has around 38 tourists. On Tuesday night, while entering the workshop for routine maintenance, the bus's glass cracked after hitting an asbestos sheet on the roof. Though KSRTC tried to source a new glass the same night, they couldn't. The bus is now fixed with the glass sourced from Thiruvananthapuram. The 50-seater bus has three services daily, at 9 am, 12.30 pm and 4 pm, three-hour duration. The upper deck seats can be booked for Rs 400 and the lower deck for Rs 200.
