Prawns is extremely popular in Kerala cuisine and there are several ways in which they are cooked. They are rich in nutrients and has low calories too. Check out the extremely simple yet delicious recipe of fried tiger prawns.

Ingredients
10 tiger prawns
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp garam masala
Salt as required
3 shallots
1 small piece ginger
2 garlic cloves
Lemon juice / vinegar as required
Pepper powder as required
Coconut oil to fry
Curry leaves

Preparation
Take chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, shallots, ginger, garlic, lemon juice / vinegar and pepper in a mixer jar
Grind well into smooth paste
Marinate the prawns with this flavoursome marinade
Add some curry leaves too
Keep the marinated prawns aside for at least half an hour
Heat coconut oil in a pan
Add the marinated prawns
Fry the prawns on low flame until they are cooked through
Enjoy the spicy and tasty fried tiger prawns.
