Ingredients
1 cup broken wheat
Water as required
½ cup carrot (sliced)
½ cup onion (sliced)
2 green chillies
2 tsp ginger
1 sprig curry leaves
½ tsp mustard seeds
2 tbsp oil

Preparation
Soak the cleaned broken wheat for at least half an hour
Drain them
Boil 5 cups water and add the soaked broken wheat with some salt
Cook for 10 minutes
Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds
Sauté the carrots and onions
Add ginger, green chillies, curry leaves and salt
Sauté well
Now add the cooked broken wheat into the vegetable mix
Mix everything well together
Cook for 5 minutes with the lid on.
