Unniyappam is a traditional Kerala snack which is prepared during festival season. This recipe of tasty rava unniyappam is simple and can be easily prepared to make your Onam celebrations fun.

Ingredients
1 cup semolina
½ cup rice flour
1 tsp butter
Milk as required
¼ cup palayankodan banana (mashed)
¼ cup shaved jaggery
Oil to fry

Preparation
Sift the semolina and rice flour together
Add the butter and mix everything well using your fingers
Pour milk as required and mix
Now add the mashed banana and shaved jaggery and mix well
Keep this batter aside for at least half an hour
Heat oil in an unniyappam vessel
Pour a spoonful of batter into the greased moulds
Fry by flipping the unniyappams and serve.
