Sadya is not complete unless you have pappadam. But do you know the varieties of dishes you could make with it? Here's a coconut twist to the pappadam and we guarantee that you would love this. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients
Coconut oil as required
10 papads (cut into small pieces)
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ cup shallots (chopped)
4 dried chillies
Curry leaves as required
Salt as required
½ cup grated coconut
¼ tsp turmeric powder

Preparation
Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry the papads
Heat some more coconut oil in another pan
Add the mustard seeds
When they splutter, add the shallots and sauté
Into it add the dried chillies and salt as required
Sauté
Add the grated coconut and turmeric powder
Keep stirring until the water gets evaporated
Into it add the fried papads and mix well
Crush the papads a bit before serving.
