It is easier to get kesar badam powder from the market these days but to get one without chemicals is very difficult. It is always better to make this at your home as the ingredients are easily available and hardly takes 10-15 minutes. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients
1/2 cup badam
1/4 tsp saffron/ kesar
1 piece dried ginger
1/2 cup palm sugar
Water as needed

Preparation
Boil water in a bowl
Add the badams once it gets boiled
After two minutes, pour the mixture into a sieve
Wash the badams in the sieve with cold water
Take out the badams to a cloth and remove its skin
Heat the badams in a pan for 3-4 minutes
Meanwhile, heat the dried ginger as well and keep it aside
In a mixer, blend badam, dried ginger, palm sugar, and saffron into a fine powder
Remember to keep it in a tight can.
