Unique and healthy minced mutton vada

Here is a unique recipe of a nutritious dish which has the goodness of mutton in it. The protein-rich dal and aromatic spices add to the flavour and texture of the minced mutton vada.
Ingredients
200 gms minced mutton
4 tbsp dal
2 green chillies
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp fennel seeds
1 cup onion (chopped)
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp gram flour
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp coriander leaves
Oil to fry
Preparation
Soak dal for at least 45 minutes
In a blender, add the soaked dal, green chillies, cumin, fennel seeds and a little bit of water
Blend it into a fine mixture
Add minced mutton, chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, gram flour, black pepper powder, salt, and coriander leaves
Heat oil in a pan
Scoop a bit of the mutton-dal mixture, and flatten it on your palm
Fry until golden brown
Tastes best when served hot with mint chutney or ketchup
