The festival season is over. Winter isn't. And it is never too late to try out this traditional American Christmas beverage. Traditional eggnog is made with milk, raw eggs and sugar. Bourbon, brandy or rum are also added to the drink often. Try out this creamy drink today and make it Christmas everyday. 

Ingredients
4 eggs
1/3 cups of sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream
3 ounces of bourbon
1 tsp cinnamon powder

Preparation
Break the eggs and separate the yolks to a bowl
Beat the yolks until they turn light in color
Add the sugar to it gradually and beat till it is well dissolved
Mix, heavy cream and cinnamon in a saucepan and bring to a boil
Now pour this hot mixture to the beaten egg yolks gradually while whisking lightly
Pour this mixture back to the saucepan and cook over medium heat
Stir continuously until the mixture turn thick
Do not allow it to boil
Remove from the stove when the mixture turn thick and allow it to cool down
Stir in the bourbon to the mixture
Refrigerate it overnight
Garnish with cinnamon powder and serve
