While it's hard to see a silver lining these days surrounding COVID-19 and lockdown days, there have, however, been some positive outcomes. People are learning new skills, bonding with family and connecting with their wider communities. As millions were stuck at home, many made sure to explore their creative sides to unprecedented levels – and are sharing their creations with the world in similarly novel, and sometimes collaborative, ways.

So was it with musician Ashwin Aryan and art director Rony C Mathew who came together to bring out a three-minute English song 'In My Head'.

Shot on an iPhone, the video features Rajesh Murugesan, Aishwarya, Karthika Raghavan and Rony C Mathew.

'In my head' is Ashwin Aryan's first single and the amusing lyrics is penned by himself along with his sister Neelima P Aryan. 'Stuck in lockdown, with a bunch of talented people around, you make a 6-year-old dream project come true,' is how Ashwin described the song.

The highlight of the addictive song is definitely the visuals which sync perfectly with the mood of the lyrics. Beginning as a set-frame on a terrace, the video is smartly edited by Renjit Varma bringing multi-colored slides and giving a tranquilizing experience to the viewers. The single has grabbed the right attention from the music world and is doing the rounds on social media platforms. Watch it here:

Meanwhile, Ashwin is a guitarist in music director Roby Abraham’s band ‘Everafter’. He has worked in movies including ‘Premam’ and ‘Gauthamante Radham’.
