Manorama Horizon, the education portal of Malayala Manorama, in association with Toonz Academy, will be conducting a free webinar for young animators who wish to build a career in computer animation. The webinar has been designed to give a clear idea about the various platforms of 3D animation and visual effects. The webinar would also discuss about how to use your creative talents in shaping your career.

Manju Warrier starrer ‘Jo and the Boy’ that was released in 2015 showed the Malayali film audience how a young woman achieved success by utilizing her creative talents and the scope of animation technology. The lead character Jo, played by Manju Warrier, dreamed to become an animator since childhood. When she grew up, she creates an animated character by observing the characteristic features of a young boy in her neighborhood. Even though Jo fails a couple of times in the beginning, she succeeds in creating the character. The movie narrates how Jo and the boy enjoy fame and success when her animation becomes a huge hit.
