Software engineer A Arunima Jayan has become the most beautiful woman in Kerala by winning the Kalyan Silks-Vanitha Miss Kerala 2025 competition. Among the 20 contestants who vied for the title, Sweta Jayaram has been adjudged the first runner-up.

Sandra Francis came second runner-up in the resplendent evening that was staged in the spectacular CIAL Convention Centre in Nedumbassery, Kochi. Actor Aishwarya Lekshmi and Kalyan Silks Chairman T S Pattabhiraman together decorated the winners with the title crowns.

The finalists were selected from 750 contestants who went through the two-month-long preparations and various competitions. The various rounds, apart from exuding excitement, produced anxious moments. All the finalists lined up on stage draped in apparel provided by Kalyan Silks. Meanwhile, Amaera Jewels decked up the contestants for the grand finale.

Poornima Indrajith, Nyla Usha, filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan, and actress Saniya Iyyappan formed the jury panel. The main sponsor of Vanitha Miss Kerala was Kalyan Silks. Meanwhile, the powered-by sponsor was Jain Deemed to be University. V-Star was the comfort partner, jewellery partner was Amaera Jewels and skin and hair care partner was Medimix. In addition, the beauty partner was Dazzler and the dream home partner was Redporch Nest.

Winners in other categories of the competition included Miss Kerala Congeniality - Dr Sandra Suresh, Miss Dazling - Rosmi Shaji, Miss Elegant Arunima Jayan, Miss Beautiful Skin - Bindya Bashi, Miss Glamorous - Sneha Binu Verghese.

The competition has opened up a vista of opportunities for the participants. The event kick-started with 'Vanitha' theme song. Audience erupted in thunderous applause even as the twenty finalists appeared on the stage. The musical extravaganza headlined by Sithara Krishnakumar, a power-packed dance programme led by Shakti Mohan and Mukti Mohan and so on transformed the event into a mesmerising feast of art, excitement and beauty.
