In a few weeks, Pune will reportedly add four new semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express trains to its existing services to Kolhapur, Hubli and Mumbai-Solapur. The upcoming services will be to Shegaon, Baroda, Secunderabad, and Belgaum. Shegaon in Maharashtra is well-known for its Gajanan Maharaj Temple, a popular spiritual retreat for celebrities and politicians. Gujarat's Baroda, known as the city of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, is also home to the renowned Laxmi Vilas Palace, the residence of its royal family.
Hyderabad's twin city, Secunderabad, has a rich history and famous tourist attractions like the Hussain Sagar Lake and the Birla Mandir. Belgaum in Karnataka also has attractions like the famous Gokak Falls, Belgaum Fort and the Jain temple Kamal Basti, which is known for its intricate architecture. Both Punekars and travel enthusiasts who want to explore a range of tourist attractions can depend on these new services for faster and easier travel to these locations, which are also affordable.
