Kollam: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced its latest tourism package from Kollam depot which includes a voyage in the sea. The biggest attraction of the trip is a five-hour cruise on a luxury ship during which stunning views of sunset could be enjoyed at deep sea.

As per the schedule released by the public carrier, the trip will start at 12 pm on April 23 from KSRTC bus stand in Kollam. Travellers can board a low-floor AC bus, which will take them to Kochi Port.

In Kochi, the luxury vessel ‘Nefertiti’ will be waiting for them. The cruise offers a variety of games and DJ party, among other fun activities, apart from amazing views of the open sea. During the trip, travellers can also watch the sunset from the deck.

The ship will return to Kochi Port by night the same day and the tourists can take the low-floor AC bus back to Kollam.

The fare per person is Rs 3,500, including food. But, for children aged between five and 10 years, the charge is Rs 1,800 only. There are 38 seats on the bus and bookings would be done on first-come, first-served basis.

Meanwhile, KSRTC authorities said that the trip may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
