Kochi: Fly Dubai has clarified that its services from India will continue to operate. Cochin International Airport Limited said on Friday that the airline has issued a clarification in the wake of fake news being circulated regarding the suspension of operations.

Fly Dubai has informed that it will be operating services to the UAE on Saturday as earlier announced. CIAL issued a noted stating that along with Fly Dubai, flights of Emirates, Etihad, Air Arabia, Indigo and Air India Express are also scheduled for UAE on Saturday.

“The UAE operations at CIAL have not been affected so far. Two UAE airlines operated on Friday,” said a CIAL press note.

The United Arab Emirates had lifted its travel ban on India on August 5. It had also opened its doors to passengers from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Nigeria and Uganda earlier this week.
The ban on entry from India had started in April after India faced a surge in coronavirus infections.
