Traffic to Wayanad through the Thamarassery Pass was held up for over two hours after a heavy landslide early on Tuesday resulted in a huge traffic jam. The incident happened near the 9th hairpin bend. The tree which fell on the road was later removed by the fire force and traffic restored partially.

A drive from Kozhikode to Wayanad through the Thamarassery Pass during the rains is an experience in itself. However, you have to be very careful while driving through this pass.
