A couple of weeks ago, actor Archana Kavi launched her own video channel on Youtube with a trip to Shimla.  And now, she follows it up with a trek to Triund, about 18 km from Dharamshala.

It was a tiresome four-hour trek, says Archana, but the view from the top was just stunning.

Places in the video

McLeodganj:  A vibrant town where you see maroon-robed monks and travelers from all part of the world, Mcleod Ganj is about 4 km away from Dharamsala town.

Triund: The 9 km trek to Triund is a perfect weekend activity. If you start early in the morning, you can see the snow clad Dhauladhar Himalayas on one side and the vast Kangra Valley on the other. And at a normal pace, it will take you about four to five hours to trek up to Triund. You can pitch tents and wait to see the sun go down. Rest and return the next day.
