The deceased's daughter had moved the court against her siblings' decision to hand over the body to the medical college.
The body will be given to the Government Medical College in Ernakulam.
The committee has asked Lawrence's three children to appear before them on Wednesday.
Lawrence, 95, passed away while undergoing treatment at Medical Trust Hospital on Saturday.
He was also an MP for the Idukki constituency from 1980 to 1984.
