Haldwani: Kerala's Muhammed Jasil K won the state's third gold when he won the finals of the Wushu competition at the National Games here on Saturday. He was victorious in the men's Taolu category. 

With this, Kerala's medal tally has increased to seven. So far, Kerala's athletes have won three gold, one silver, and three bronze medals.

Meanwhile, Sajan Prakash and Harshita Jayaram have qualified for the final, raising Kerala's medal hopes in swimming. Sajan qualified for the final in the 200-metre butterfly stroke, while Harshita Jayaram qualified for the title race of the women's 50-metre breaststroke. Both finals will be held later in the day.
