Mohammed Siraj lost his cool a couple of times in the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which India lost by ten wickets. But Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood has preferred to take the show of aggression from his former RCB teammate in good spirits.

"He's just a good character, and it's good to see sometimes," said Hazlewood, who played with the Indian pacer in the IPL.

"I really enjoyed my time at RCB with Siraj. He's probably the leader of the attack there, to a degree. He's another one who's a bit like Virat, very passionate, goes with the flow of the game, gets the crowd up. He has bowled serious spells in the IPL in the last few years," Hazlewood said.

Siraj will play for Gujarat Titans in the IPL next season, while Hazlewood has returned to RCB, who picked him from the recent IPL Mega Auction for Rs 12.5 crore.

The Aussie pacer missed the second Test in Adelaide due to a side strain, but two of his teammates were at the receiving end from Siraj.

In the first innings, the Indian pace bowler threw the ball in the direction of Marnus Labuschagne after he pulled away from his stance, forcing the bowler to halt his run-up. Labuschagne's reaction was prompted by a man holding a tower of beer cups walking across his line of sight.

The next day, Siraj was involved in a verbal altercation with Travis Head soon after cleaning him up. The series is tied 1-1, and the third match of the five-match series will begin in Brisbane on December 14.
