Kozhikode: The Crime Branch has concluded that MS Solutions leaked the question papers for Class 10 and 11 half-yearly examinations. A case has been registered against the firm under seven sections, including fraud. Notices will be issued to summon MS Solutions CEO Shuhaib and other employees. The investigation also includes examining the activities of other private tuition centres that collaborated with MS Solutions to predict questions. The inquiry is being led by Crime Branch chief H Venkatesh.

The leaked question papers include the Class 10 English and Plus One Mathematics papers prepared for the Christmas exams. These question papers appeared on a YouTube channel of MS Solutions the day before the exams scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Shuhaib allegedly threatened a teacher who advised students not to rely on MS Solutions’ question papers. Manorama News obtained an audio recording of the threat. Since the controversy began, the MS Solutions tuition centre in Koduvally has remained closed. The institution had previously stated it would cooperate with the investigation.

In response to the allegations, Shuhaib denied leaking the papers, claiming instead that the questions were accurately predicted. “Those working in this field can easily predict many of the questions likely to appear. Certain questions are repeated every year,” Shuhaib said.

He added, “Questions often come from specific chapters. In a 40-mark exam, there are usually 20 questions, and students can predict about 10 themselves. The so-called leaked question from the chemistry exam has been a recurring one for years.”

Shuhaib alleged that MS Solutions is being unfairly targeted, while other institutions are not named. “Large financial and political powers back these institutions. MS Solutions became a target because our predictions were accurate,” he said, adding that other institutions should also be scrutinised if allegations are being made.
