Kozhikode: The 39th South Indian History Congress would be held at the Osmania University in Hyderabad from February 8 to 10. The event would be inaugurated by Telangana state chief secretary Shailendrakumar Joshi, said the organisers.
Allahabad university professor and social scientist Badri Narayanan would be the keynote speaker at the event. Hundreds of delegates are expected to attend the three-day meet.
Osmania university professor Arjun Rao is the local secretary for the event.
Memorial speeches and cultural events would be held along the main event, said P Sivadasan, the general secretary and a professor at the University of Calicut.
