Ingredients
1 piece yam
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
½ teaspoon chilli powder
Salt (as required)

Preparation
Wash the yam piece neatly and cut it into pieces
Add salt, turmeric, and chilly powders into it and mix well
Keep it aside for sometime
Pour coconut oil into a wok or any other vessel and put the yam pieces into it
Fry one side and then the other
Cook the chips until they are golden brown and there are no more bubbles coming out of them in the oil
Use a kitchen spider to remove the chips from your draining rack
The crispy, crunchy yam chips are ready
