Can't get enough of macaroni loaded with cheese? Then this recipe will have you addicted. Turn your favourite mac n cheese into bite-sized snacks with a bacon surprise.
Ingredients
250 gm boiled macaroni pasta
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
2 cups cheese
60 gm cream cheese
Fried bacon bits, to taste
salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
Melt butter in a sauce pan
Add flour and mix continuously to avoid lumps
Pour in milk slowly and keep stirring
Add grated cheese and mix
Then add the cream cheese and keep stirring till the mixture comes to a boil
Turn off heat and add salt and pepper to taste
Pour the hot mixture over boiled pasta and mix
Add bacon bits and mix
Grease cupcake tray and drop a big spoonful of the mixture in each mould
Top with bacon bits and bake
Serve hot.
