Ingredients
4 hot dog buns
2 cups finely cut cabbage
2 stalks finely cut celery
2 finely cut carrots
¼ cup vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
¾ cup mayonnaise
Salt, as required
4 leaves lettuce
4 long sausages
Preparation
Split the hot dog bun into two, but keep the tip together intact
Place in a pan and heat a bit
Mix cabbage, celery and carrot, and put in salt water. Keep in fridge for an hour
Wring it well later on and mix after adding vinegar and sugar
Add mayonnaise and salt and blend well. Keep in fridge for a while. This becomes coleslaw
Place a lettuce leaf in the middle of the heated hot dog. Place a sausage over it. Place coleslaw over it. Cover with bun and serve
