At a time when the world is reeling under the Covid-19 threat, a group of young musicians have released a music video urging people to build a world together and listen to the awakening voices.

The album Uyaraam was conceived by a group of youngsters to inspire people who are feeling the pinch of the lockdown.

"This is a song of survival," said singer Hemanth P K. "It is all about positivity. Lyrics are so powerful. I am so happy to be part of this project," he said.

Shot in various parts of Kozhikode, the music video pays rich tributes to labourers who struggled during the testing times; cleaning staff whose hard work kept the virus at bay; common people who faced a lot of hardships; ambulance drivers whose dedication saved plenty of lives; police personnel who worked round-the-clock and, more importantly, medical professionals who are described as 'angels on the earth'.
