Jagathy Sreekumar back on the sets to respond to the call 'action'

Kochi: Sethurama Iyer is once again back with his trusted aide Vikram by his side. When K Madhu called for action, Mammootty and Jagathy Sreekumar did their combination scenes beautifully. But Mammootty was left misty-eyed by Jagathy’s performance.

This memorable event marked the comeback of the King of humour, Jagathy Sreekumar after a decade, at the location of CBI 5-The Brain, the 5th edition of the CBI series. Ever since a near-fatal car accident on March 10th, 2012, Jagathy had been staying away from Malayalam cinema.

He was welcomed on the sets on Saturday by K Madhu, scriptwriter SN Swami and the members of the crew. K Madhu was elated that his Vikram was finally back on screen.

K Madhu confided that it was difficult to visualise film without the presence of Jagathy Sreekumar and that he was thankful to God and his Guru for his speedy recovery. Though not fully recovered, SN Swamy said Jagathy was well aware of his surroundings and knew what to do. Jagathy’s son Rajkumar is also playing a role in the film.
