Thiruvananthapuram: The trial allotment list for admission to the Plus-One (Class 11) courses in schools following the Kerala Government syllabus will be published at 9 am on September 13, on the website www.admission.dge.kerala.gov.in

Candidates may click on the link ‘Click for Higher Secondary Admission’ on the website and login at ‘Candidate Login-SWS.’ Subsequently, the result of the trial allotment could be checked at the link, ‘Trial Result.’

The trial allotment list will be available for checking till 5 pm on September 16.

Later, the first phase allotment will take place on September 22.

For corrections
In case candidates want to make corrections in their applications, it could be done through the link ‘Edit Application’ accessed after the candidate logs in.

Management, community seats under merit category
Meanwhile, in a major move, the Kerala government has decided to shift the management and community quota seats for Plus One in 51 higher secondary schools to the merit section.

According to the authorities, this was following disputes over the management of the schools and absence of recognized managers in 29 schools. Similarly, in the other 22 aided schools, there was insufficient number of applicants to fill the 10 per cent community quota.

Fall in applications
Incidentally, data shows that there has been a fall in the number of applicants for the Plus One courses this year, compared to 2020. While 4,76,040 applications were received through the single-window facility last year, only 4,64,012 students applied this year.

Equivalency exam results
The government has published the results of the Plus Two Equivalency Exam conducted in July this year. They are available on the website www.dhsekerala.gov.in
